My baby was born right before Halloween which is what I wanted my dad was not until 11/16 😬 I had been experiencing contractions for about 1 week before giving birth but very far apart sometimes 8mins then 15mins. Four days before delivery I had bloody show and continued to have it until I delivered. I had been walking about 1 mile at least 3 times a week for the previous 2 weeks and intercourse at least 2 times a week 😉 I heard it was good to induce labor. Went to bed pretty late on 10/29 since I had gone walking got in the shower and had a cinnamon tea (which I heard was good to induce labor as well) and had intercourse then my contractions began again at about 8-9mins apart not very very strong, I took a nap and continued to wake up through the night. At about 3:30am I mentioned to my husband my contractions were not going away and becoming a more intense yet still 7-8mins apart. We got the kids ready by the time we left home it was about 4:30 and I had to stop twice before getting in car because my contractions were very strong. My contractions started getting closer and stronger on the way to hospital when I went in I was already between 5 and 6 cm dialated, my blood pressure was sky high and tested positive on protein in urine. Dr admitted me right away and mentioned if I was not in labor due to the preclosia I would have to be induced immediately anyways. Glad I waited from going to l&d before I did not want to get induced. Long story short baby was born 1 hr and 29mins from the time I arrived to hospital no time for less for any anestesia 😩 the most painful experience but so glad I had no mess makes a whole world of difference. Baby girl is super healthy 6.9lbs 21.5 in long.
