From what I've read and what friends have told me, until six months you can't hold a baby too much. Their brains aren't mature enough to start manipulating you with cries to form the bad habit if always having their needs attended to immediately. In fact, it's good for them, they gain confidence and security when you hold them and respond to their cries immediately so that when they're older they have the confidence to be more independent.

I never try to hold my child every time they cry  because then that's all they want is held you can never get anything done i do from time to time

Sometimes being in my arms makes him cry harder. Im told this stage is hard but you end up missing it in the end. Enjoy your snuggles ❤
