he wants kids now and I don't

Any suggestions or advice for couples who are in a huge disagreement about the right time to have kids? My boyfriend wants children right now and I don't. We're in the mist of a pregnancy scare, and I just can't promise that I will keep it. He's mad that I plan getting on BC  if I'm not and we haven't talked in a week because of it. I think he's fucking childish for that and very inconsiderate. How do we get through this? I just want my friend back.
