effaced but not dilated?
Just left my 36 week check up. He said I am almost completely effaced, that the baby's head is super low but not dilated at all yet. I understand effacement is when the cervix thins but doesn't that lead to it opening? Hoping she comes early 😬
any advice? Or thoughts on when she might come? Thanks!
