My one month son won't go to sleep without my nipple in his month! He will cry and scream bloody murder, gets mad if we try to give him his binkie, and he doesn't give up. I've tried to let him cry it out because he not actually hungry but I always give in. He will stay on the nipple for no more than 10 minutes and then he's out cold. I feel like I need to ween him off this habit. He now sleeps next to me so when he wakes up he can have easy access to the breast(hungry or not). The worst part is when he's not hungry but wants the nipple instead of feeding he will play with it which is causing me pain since he won't stay probably latched. Any suggestions?
