After cervical stretch

I'm getting induced tomorrow night due to medical issues. Yesterday my OB did a cervical stretch to try to move things along since I'm only dilated to a 1. Anyways, last night I started spotting and today I've spotted... it takes up the center of a pad all the way up and down it (I'd say a little more than spotting?) It's dark brown and it also doesn't look like blood. I have no idea how to describe it other than it looks like someone didn't wipe after going #2. I was thinking discharge but it's also very different than that. Does anyone know what I'm taking about and if it's "normal"? Thank you! Once again, so sorry. Google

Wasn't a help and I don't want to call my OB when I have no idea how to even describe this even though she told me I should expect some bleeding.
