job advice

Krista
So I have a dilemma and I really want unbiased opinions on my current situation. I am currently employed as the special events manager for seniors who have Alzheimer's at a senior living facility however most of my career I have been a para educator (working with children who have special needs) I am quitting my current job and have two job offers but I don't know which will benefit me more. I was offered a job as an activity coordinator at the Marriott which would be wonderful and I can definitely see myself growing there however it's 3 dollars less than what I make now and it's not a magament position so I feel it's almost like a step down rather than up. On the other hand I was offered a job in my school district as a para educator it pays wells I'd have a great schedule but I'm going to miss working events and activities financially I know it's smarter and my friends and family tell me that's what I should go for but I feel like I'd be missing out at the Marriott): any advice? What would you do? Should I take the pay cut and demortion in hopes that I'll eventually grow or play it safe?
