The Fiery Feeling I'd Missing...

So I have been seeing the same guy for almost 6 months now and if you saw my last post I described that I love him and we have no problem clicking in the bedroom but I'm concerned cuz I still don't feel that exciting feeling, that clingy feeling at the beginning of the relationship... it's like we entered a relationship and skipped the first year... I'm not sure what to do or what it means, is that an important feeling to have or can a relationship be just as strong without that flirty beginning?
