We announced!

We were going to wait until 12 weeks, but we saw a heathy, strong heartbeat on Monday and just couldn't wait!

A little backstory - our 5-year old son has leukemia and he was very sick on Halloween. We only go trick-or-treating to family, so it wasn't a big deal to reschedule. So we took him trick-or-treating last night and he was Willy Wonka. He handed out "Wonka bars" everywhere we went and told them to see if they got a Golden Ticket. This was what was inside each candy:

Everyone was so excited!! Even the one parent who we were nervous to tell. Later today, I'll post the following picture to Facebook. Our community calls our son Super Carter, and calls him their hero for fighting cancer with a smile, so we thought this would be perfect! I just couldn't wait to share! I'm 9 weeks and 3 days along!
