babies and the flu shot

So my fellow moms how do you feel about giving your infant, toddler, and or children the flu shot. Today my  9mo old pediatrician offered to griv her the flu shot I was all for it being that my daughter is at a stage that she is crawling and constantly putting things in her mouth. Also because the holidays are coming and we have a ton of family coming into town with small children. I really want to give her the flu shot but my BF is not having it.....
