Contractions??

I'm 36 +2 dilated  to 1cm 20% softened.
So I know I'm having contractions.... what do they feel  like. I read tightening of the belly but my belly tightens when he moves

Braxton hicks contractions are like tightening. You will know when you are having actual contractions because they feel like period cramps from hell.

I didn't believe it when people said it, but real contractions are entirely different from BH.

Your entire belly will go rock hard at one time, and it's like your insides are being wrung out like a wet towel. It's pretty much excruciating. It kind of makes you want to fold into the fetal position.
