pain tolerance?

Ok I know this is gonna sound sissy ish, but this is my first baby (due January 4th), and I'm really nervous about the pain.  Is it really as bad as everyone thinks? I'm gonna try to do natural birth as much as I can.

I used Bradley Method with my natural birth with my youngest, I felt like the labor was manageable because I read up and knew what to expect and how to cope.  Pushing was pretty intense, but my pushing stages are fast so maybe that's why.  I loved being able to get up and move after and not being hooked up to an Iv.  Baby girl was very alert and nursed like a champ :)

I'm due 1/8/2016 & also heading in with a all natural birth mindset!

I've been told its like period cramps, stomach bug cramps times 100 lol and then I'm told if you breathe through it with a strong mindset you'll "survive"

I guess we will have to wait & see 😂

I believe it's different for everybody. To me it hurt like hell I experience natural and epidural birth I will never go natural again. Lol

I agree you can't know until it starts. My plan is to go natural, but if for any reason it turns out too much too handle, and especially if I am given pitocin, I will get an epidural. There is no shame in that.

Im.gonna be honest. Your not gonna know until your in it.   Everyone labors different.  My first....I had back labor more then anything.  Unfortunatly my son didn't tolerate it so I had to have an epidural but it does hurt
