My fiancé has ALWAYS used the withdrawal method (we've been together for over two years now.) I haven't gotten pregnant, but he is very good at controlling the urge to keep going when it's time to pull out unlike most guys. It can be disruptive if you're enjoying the sex, and it's definitely not as guaranteed as other methods, but it has worked great for us and is great considering we don't have to interrupt the mood for a condom. I, personally, don't like birth control pills so this has been a good alternative.

Used it for a bit but only before I got on birth control, not worth the risk. Plus it kinda kills the moment when you're both about to cum and he pulls out before you get to.

It's not that safe, I wouldn't recommend it alone, i use it and at the same time I use a condom, so there's less chances of pregnancy, but only using withdrawal is not that good pre-cum can have semen and that will get you pregnant!
