I had a baby in December 2014. After she was born the placenta stuck to my uterus and the doctor had to go in and scrape it out causing me to hemorrhage. They were able to stop the bleeding and I received two blood transfusions. She was perfectly healthy and I breast fed her until December 2015 so I didn't have periods that whole year. Once I stopped breastfeeding I began having normal periods again. But for the last 6 months I have had periods farther and further apart and lighter and lighter each time. I have set up an appointment to see my Dr tomorrow but I am just curious if anyone else has experienced this and what was the outcome. Thanks in advance.
