Is it and ear infection?

So I took a shower and noticed water in my left ear. Tried to clean it and i don't know what happened. All of a sudden.i couldn't hear. My ear feels like I'm underwater,my head feels heavy and its very annoying. Since i was sick already, i was already kind of stuff but now its been 2-3days. I still can't hear out of my left ear

I had this happen not too long ago. It was the most annoying thing ever. It felt like I had cotton shoved deep inside my ear. It's just congestion pressure. It took forever for mine to go away even after I wasn't sick anymore. Our ears, eyes, nose are all connected so it makes sense.

Is it and ear infection?
