Baby sleeping advice!

How did you successfully get your little one to be able to fall asleep on their own/kinda sleep through the night? I know all babies are different and I don't expect my little girl to sleep through the night just yet, (she's five months old) but give me some advice guys!! I've tried the gentle cry it out method and for five nights in a row she fell asleep on her own with no crying, but she recently stopped doing that :( and I think it's because she still wakes up 3 times at night and I always just nurse her back to sleep because I don't want her to cry all night
