baby sleeping with dogs

I know its a silly question. But is a baby allowed to sleep with dogs in the same room? Not in the same bed. I have 7weeks baby and two little fur babies. Before having my boy, i always sleep in the same bed with my dogs. But since i have my baby, my parents suggested not to let him sleep with my dogs in the same room because it will affecting his respiratory sytem. But on the other side, i dont wanna my dogs feel that i am neglecting them.
