iud linked to depression?

I have been experiencing a lot of depression in the last few months. I got the iud over a year and a half ago and I've reached a point of depression where I'm suicidal. Now I know I'm not going to do it. To much to love for but I don't like constantly feeling this way. It effects everyone around me. I just want to see if others get Similar symptoms.
