crib training

Last weekend I transitioned my 6 month old from the bed w/me🙈...to his crib in his room...it has been difficult...it's easier for me to keep going in his room when he wakes to feed or rock him back to sleep on the weekends b/c I don't have work but this weekday business has been tougher...I'm so tired I only go into his room when he cries once and if it happens again I keep him in the bed with me😔...any suggestions, advice,...?
