Spelling of Isla

I love the name Isla. Someone I know of (not personally just through a mutual acquaintance) just named their baby girl Ayla and I figured it was pronounced like Kayla without the K..then I googled the pronounciation and it came up as the same pronounciation as Isla (eye-lah) but like I said until I googled it I figured it was Ay-lah.....which spelling do you guys prefer?
