What are you guys giving your almost 4 month old instead of formula?

I'd love for you guys to add your input & how many oz of juice or how much baby food you give there LO & how they react to it.

Just breastmilk. 4 months is too young for juice. The AAP recommends introducing solids at 6 months as well as diluted juice. It's a lot of extra sugar that's not needed.

I give my boy puree'd fruit at the moment. He was having 8oz bottles every 3 hours and he wasn't settling or satisfied so I started him on it. You know when baby's ready. You're with them constantly so you know best.

I still dilute my 2 year olds juice and only give it to her once a day. With all my kids I didn't start juice till 1 years old unless they were constipated. My children have all started on solids at 4 months but my last LO is really struggling with it and just pushes it forward and acts like it taste disgusting (bananas, pears and apples thus far). She was and is showing interest while we eat so I thought she was ready but I'll just keep trying with a few baby size spoonfuls once a day (when I have the extra time) till she gets it. I'm trying to sort of push it cause she only eats 2-3 oz every 2 hrs (unless it's night after 4hr stretch which she'll take 4 1/2 oz.) so she wakes up 2 X's at night still to feed. She also has 1 teaspoon of rice cereal in every bottle due to severe reflux since she was 2 months.

My sons doctor gave me the ok to start introducing solids to him. I purée my own baby food at home. Starting off with vegetables then fruits such as sweet potato carrots bananas. You will feel if your baby is ready or not for solids. He takes 4 and half ounces every 3 hours and he's 18 pounds 11oz
