What does your mucus plug look like?? (pic included)

So I'm 39+1 today and since yesterday I've been losing pieces of my mucus plug. Today I have had a lot of cramping all day it hasn't stopped except for the short period of time between cramps. I don't think they're contractions as it really just feels like I have my period. The color of my mucus plug started to change and now I have a lot of discharge (seems kinda watery) so I put on a pad. I noticed the color of my mucus plug now seems to be really really yellow with maybe a slight green/golden brown tint to it. Is this normal?? It's not a bloody brown, more of a light brown to the point I hesitate to even call it brown!
