In the Mormon culture it's getting popular to take formal pictures with your fiancé before the wedding day. That way you have pictures perhaps to showcase at the reception and to get it out of the way so you have more time on the wedding day. But, my finances family is giving me a fit for wanting to do this. Saying it will take away from the big day. I understand that, but I also don't want to take hours after the temple ceremony to take pictures... Any Advice would be great. Should I do them like a week or two before? Or the day of? (These are like cool fancy pics in the mountains with your husband and/or around the temple grounds, etc.)
