Femara/Letrozole Buddies?

Question

Hey there! I'm currently on CD 28, anxiously awaiting my period so I can start my first round of Femara and a trigger shot. 
I'm a little nervous and would love to have some other ladies to talk to who are going through it at the same time. Anyone else starting Femara soon?

Completed my first round of femara now just nervously waiting to see if I am pregnant of not. I responded better then my first round of clonus but if it does not work this round they are going to have me on 3 pills a day with another pill to help lessen the testosterone I have they said that may help with the absorption. I have not been getting cycles on my own so I just have to have a blood test done 16 days after my positive ovulation test  son next Thursday will be the test to see if I am pregnant and if not I start provera.

I finally got a positive on the urine test strip for ovulation and a solid on the digital test 😃. I was on cd 13 when I got those yesterday.

I am currently on my first cycle of Letrozole and currently on the 14th day of my cycle.  I'm glad to hear that the headaches, hot flashes and bloating aren't just happening to me. Im staying positive for a positive outcome, but at the same time worried about possibly being disappointed. Fingers crossed this works.. Good luck everyone!

Anyone notice letrozole delayed ovulation? I've been o around cd 14-17 and I'm still low on clearblue on cd 14...

I did 5 IUIs with letrozole, all bfn. Side effects included bloating, hair thinning, thirst and hot flashes. My dose got bumped to the highest, 7.5, to try to get more than one follicle to grow. Didn't do much for me and glad to be off it.

I just completed my 3rd cycle on Letrozole. I've ovulated on my own each cycle & will each cycle I developed a follicle. 1st round 1 follicle, 2nd round 2 and now this round 3 follicles. Currently in my tww. 1st round no side effects but last 2 rounds I got headaches from it. Good luck to you!!

This is my first Femara ycle. (I took Clomid for two cycles last year and so far, I like Femara better.) I'm on cycle day 10 and had a trigger shot today for my first IUI tomorrow. (I typically get an LH surge on CD 11 unmedicated, or CD 14 with Clomid, so I was surprised to have it yesterday on CD 9.) Since timing caught us off guard, we don't meet the "2 to 5 days of abstinence" they'd prefer, so I'm not getting my hopes up for this one to work. :(

I'm on my fourth round of letrozole, and I've ovulated on it each time. I like it much better than clomid. But we just learned that my husband's count is down again, so we may have to start IUI earlier than planned. How are you doing on the letrozole?
