$2million taco? 🌮

Angie
This is old but caught my interest. I was planning a dinner date with some friends the other day & one suggested this restaurant that I recently went to. I immediately said no way because my last visit was shitty service, cold food & a mistake that had me gagging. I ordered French onion soup & when it came out (cold) I started eating it & bit into a piece of pork which wouldn't be an issue to some but I happen to be a vegetarian (I hate the taste of meat I know I'm weird lol). I started scooping through the soup & found more big chunks of pork hidden underneath the cheese. Now I'm not a die hard, strict vegetarian (it's more of a preference) so I didn't say anything to the waitress but it got me thinking: what if I was a religious person & my religion saw it as a sin to eat meat? That place would put someone in a seriously bad somewhat irreversible situation. So I was telling my friends what happened & one of them told me a gentleman who was Hindu went to a Taco Bell restaurant & ordered a bean taco (don't quote me on that) and long story short they gave him beef, he bit into it & had to immediately go through this extensive process; kind of like a cleansing I believe.  He ends up suing Taco Bell for $2 million dollars for that mistake & honestly I don't blame him. What do you think? If you're religious or vegan/vegetarian & can't eat certain foods because of that and a restaurant made this kind of mistake how would you react? Was it a fair settlement?
