babyfood???

Have you started feeding babyfood yet? 
My LO is 18 weeks, trying to hold out for 6 months but he seems ready... thoughts?

My daughter had her 4 month appointment yesterday and they recommended starting solids soon. I said I was going to wait until about 5.5 months and the pedi told me it is actually better to start sooner for allergy purposes. Going to try rice cereal next week with her!

Mine is 4.10 months. Tried cereal-breast milk last wk. 2x & she loved it. But ive also been known to let her lick the gucaolmole, mashed potatos, blue berry mush & green beans off my fingers 😂

If they meet all the requirements why not, I just started my baby off on solids 2 weeks ago and she loves it! Also try oatmeal cereal instead of rice, it can constipate them really bad from expierience and oatmeal is so much better for their tummies. Also bananas, sweet patatoe and squash can constipate as well.

Nope! Baby will have Virgin gut until 6 months then we wil start solids.. Just curious ,  Are u ladies making your LO's baby food?

Anything before 6mo is purely just for fun of the parent.

U do it when ur baby is ready. No point goving it to them if they are not interested. Generally they will be interested in what ur eating open there mouth when a spoon is placed near there mouth. They should be able to sit up a bit by themselves aswell in a bumbo or something. Just try and if ur lo isnt interested try again in a few weeks

Our doctor okayed solids! We started out with sweet potato, then went to avocado, butternut squash and pear. She loves it! She grabs the spoon and shovels it into her mouth and starts whining if you're not quick enough refilling it. It's adorable.

My baby girl is 4 months old and I've just started baby foods. Once she showed interest when I would eat I thought to try it. I have a 7 year old as well and I started her at about 5 months as well.

My sons 4 months and he's eating solids I give him solids and a bottle. I mix the fruits and the veggies or do half and half and then let him wash it down with a bottle
