Breast pumps...

So I'm going to get a medela breast pump because I've read nothing but good reviews on them. If you guys think otherwise feel free to comment lol. But my question is, should I get the manual one or the electric one? I was going to go with the manual one because it's a lot cheaper, but my mom made a point that am I really going to want to be sitting there and continuously squeezing the pump to get milk, she thinks the electric would be a better choice. I'm a first time mom, so I'm just curious as to which is better, electric one or manual one?
