anyone experiencing low level fluid? help

Question

So I just went in for my weekly NST and they do a ultrasound a long with it. On Tuesday my level was a 18 and today it was a 9. Dr said it is still in the normal range but if it drops below a 8 we are just going to do my a c section. I'm just nervous about him not having enough time baking. I am 37w1d. My dr wants me to drink lots of fluid. I just pray my baby will be strong and healthy. Anyone dealing with fluid levels?

Hi ladies..just wanted to give an update. We went in today to check the fluid level. We had a NST first and of course my little stubborn baby boy wasn't cooperating. He finally started to wake up and move and everything looked great. After they gave me the ultrasound and dr said my levels were good. He also said baby looked good. My levels today were 15-18. He said this is good and he thinks maybe the position of the baby was the reason the tech yesterday couldn't measure accurately. So baby is still baking in my belly. I have another NST Tuesday with an ultrasound, so I will keep you all updated on how my levels look that day!

So at 29 weeks I went into preterm labor they gave me indocin every four hours to stop my contractions. I got sent home on this medicine. So from Tuesday to the following Monday I was still on this medicine. I felt terrible my stomach felt tight like a contraction and I kept getting headaches. I raised my concern with my doctor and he said to wait till I go to the fetal specialist that Thursday to see if he would switch me to procardia. Well Thursday rolls around we go to the ultrasound I requested the tech does the ultrasound and goes to get the doctor. He comes in asks me how long I've been on this medicine I said 9 days. He said to immediately stop because now it has effected her kidneys and I have barely any amniotic fluid in there I was at a ONE!!! They told me anything below 5 is low. Told me to drink drink drink and stop the medicine and come back on Monday for a follow up ultrasound to see if her fluid is building back up. It went back up to a 13 thank God. I'm now at 34+3 weeks and everything is looking way better. Drink up!

You guys.  They just "broke my water" and nothing, NOTHING came out.  That's after me sitting here on bedrest and getting bag after bag after bag of IV fluid over the last 48 hours.

I'm in the middle of an induction for it right now...my fluid dropped from 6 at 36 weeks to 4 at 37 weeks.  😭

I'm in the hospital now and low fluid is one of the reasons they are doing a csection at 36 weeks. There's many other reasons as well. Within the next 6 hours my little girl will be here and she's measuring so tiny below 5 lbs I'm hoping she's more than 5lbs. I had a steroid shot to mature her lungs. And I had two NST and BPPs a week for a couple of weeks to watch her. She kept failing NSTs. She failed the last two BPPs so they decided it's time to get her out.  I'm terrified at the moment excited to see my baby but absolutely terrified about her health.

At our 34 week ultrasound she did say mine was on the lower end of normal, but still normal and to just try to drink an extra glass of water everyday. She didn't tell me a number though. You're in my prayers, good luck and God bless!

I had low water but they said the level they would induce wasn't until it was below 5!
