2 Positive Pregnancy Tests at Doctor

Hi everyone. I am feeling very down this week. Last week I went to my primary care Dr for a Pap and told them I was ttc. She did a urine test and said she tested twice and both times it was positive. Said she couldn't do a Pap because she didn't want to disturb anything down there. Told me to go to obgyn in 4 weeks. I took at least 5 pregnancy tests at home- all negative. 5 days later I stared bleeding. Went to obgyn and she said I was never pregnant and must have gotten 2 false positives from pcp. Does that happen! Is that rare? I am very crushed. Also found out through blood test I have hypothyroidism. Such a bad week.
