Annoyed that your boyfriend doesn't have a car?

Do you ever get annoyed that your boyfriend   doesn't have a car? We are both in our 30s, and I am beginning to find it annoying I have to drive my boyfriend around on dates. One time, he borrowed his mom's car to take me on a date, and I wish that he could do that again!

I don't think I've ever dated anyone that didn't have a car. Is this a new issue? Is it temporary? Does he not have a license, or lost his license? Does he gave a plan to get a car soon? I understand that some cities have great public transit and it's relatively normal for people to not have cars, is that why? So many questions, sorry.

Lol my dad won't learn to drive. I swear my mother wants to kill him at times. He cycles to work anyway but  at times she gets so pissed doing all the driving.

why does he have a car ? i wouldnt mind if it was for a while or cus he sold it or whatevers but if its been like that forever i would be mad like dude ur 30 yrs old u cant save money up to at lest get a cheap little car to go do your things does he even work?

All the time my husband won't go for his test and I'm getting so fed up with it. Took its toll last nye when my ectopic ruptured and my mammy had to take me to a&e. He promised he would go for it and I'm still waiting.

Depends. Did he have a car when you got together? If not, why are you complaining now? Personally, i wouldn't date anyone without a car

Isn't it a little shallow and hypocrisy?  It's ok when he picks you up for a date but not the other way round?  Talk about equality!!

I didn't have a car for the first 4 months my fiancé and I dated. He had zero issue picking me up, and I put gas in his tank. Fast forward to this year and I've had no car after an accident and when my SUV needed work. We shared his car then. 
We don't know the circumstances as to why your SO is carless, so it's easy to pass judgement and call him lazy/careless/a leech. If you're frustrated with him not having one, talk to him about it.
