Our Julius Dean Joseph is here !!! Our labor story...

Andrea
Thought I would share by labor story with you ladies
Woke up Wednesday 11/16/16 morning at 2:30am with a terrible hunger! So I ate and laid back down, woke up at 4:00am to use the restroom and I had my bloody show and lost my mucus plug. Contractions started right away, I monitored contractions for about an hour and they were mild but consistent. My husband came back home at 6:00am and my uncle came to get our eldest son by 6:30am. By 7am contractions picked up in intensity and were 5 minutes apart. My labor with my first son was 7 hours so I thought is best to get to the hospital right away. On our way to the hospital I had two intense contractions, so I knew this was the real deal. Arrived at hospital by 7:30am, was already dilated 4cm and 90% effaced. I power walked for about 45 min around labor and delivery. They admitted me around 8:45, and by that time I was 7cm. The pain was so intense but I was so focused on getting him OUT!
Midwife broke my water around 9:30ish and with three hard pushes little Julius was out at 9:52am! We delayed everything and snuggled for the first hour. Although the labor was fast and intense it was peaceful and full of an abundance of love! Recovery is going really well, I have to remind myself to slow down.
Sending all of you positive vibes and lots of love! This journey has been amazing with all of you 💙
