Mother doesnt like my babys name ..

so finally my hubby and i have agreed on a name .. which has been sooo hard because hes arabic and it NO MATTER WHAT has to be an arabic name .. my c-section is in 25 days and it took us this long to finally agree on something .

So i was all excited to tell my mother that my son finally has a name and i told her and all she aid is .. "thats different ..." obviously meaning she doesnt like it.

i said .. so you dont like it ? and all she said again is "its different.."

I know that hes MY kid and i should name him exactly what i want to .. but im worried now that other people might react the same way

The name is Rami (sounds like Raw-Mee)

Im just wondering if any one like this name as well or not ?
