Need some advice

Hi!  I'm hoping you guys can help me out here.  My bf and I are TTC and AF showed up 2 days early on the 18th, lasted until the 21st and then I started spotting and didn't stop until (hopefully) today.  Went to the dr and all is good but since I'm supposed to be in my fertile week should I adjust my period log to account for the spotting?  The question slipped my mind when I was at the Dr.  I took a test this morning and I'm not ovulating (although according to my chart I should be) and my cervical position is def not there yet.
