MIL can i just tell her no?

So u text my MIL a few days ago telling her I was ordering prints of my DD who is 7 months old, asking her what size she wanted. In turn she asked for 5 copies and told me who they were for. One of the people included a woman who she is friends with that isn't really my favorite person ever. She insists that basically any of her friends children call her "aunt", and she's just off. Anyways, I don't know if I feel comfortable giving her a copy. Advice? (P.s. my MIL is notorious for throwing fits)

Umm. No. I'm not printing out a picture of my baby and handing it to someone I don't know, or that creeps me out.

You asked her what size,  not how many.  I dont see why she would expect 5 copies.

Is it really important to you? If not, I'd just pick my battles and let this one go. That way the next time something bugs you, it doesn't seem like you're putting your foot down on every little thing?

Tell her no. Only certain people that you the mother approve of can have pictures of your children. If that woman was allowed to have one you would have talked to her about it.

Personally i would just let her have a picture. Even if you tell her no she could make her own copies and hand them out behind your back. Unless the woman is some criminal or child predator I don't think it's worth it to put your foot down over something so small. I can see your side of it though.

I do agree with some who said pick your battles but I'd also let MIL know that you don't feel comfortable sharing the picture with this person. I've already told my parents and everyone else included in my life that I don't want my baby's picture or any information on social media. They've all respected that. I've also told my close family that there are some parts of my hubby's side I'd prefer not to have around the baby. Hubby agrees and everyone just accepted it. My family may be a bit different because they'll bend over backwards for this baby, but it's definitely worth voicing if you feel strongly about it.
