Getting IUD taken out in 2 weeks any advice for TTC after Mirena?!

Question

My fiancé and I want to start trying for a baby. I am scheduled to get my IUD taken out in December 8th 
Any advice is appreciated!!!!

I got my mirena taken out in March after having it in for a year, and my cycles were really wacky for a good 4 months, but during that time we were not TTC. In August this year we tried for the first time and got pregnant right off the bat. But I think it depends on how long you've had it in.

I got my mirena IUD taken out in May and I'm still not pregnant they told me it takes longer after you get your IUD removed since most people don't have a period with it so my advice is Patience good luck

Don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen right away. It was very disheartening every month it didn't happen for us after I got it taken out but sometimes that's just how it goes when TTC. I got it out in December 2015 and had normal periods starting January 2016. I started tracking BBT on Fertility Friend in April because I was worried I wasn't ovulating but I figured out I was just ovulating later than Glow predicted. I got pregnant in July ater trying for 7 months. I highly recommend downloading Fertility Friend and starting the free lessons to learn how to accurately track BBT and ovulation. I wish I had done that before I started to fully understand how the body works.

I had my copper coil out 3rd October! TTC! Fingers crossed AF doesn't show!

I had mine removed the end of March, I had short periods all throughout my year with my mirena in and starts my period right away after it was removed.  We have been TTC since. Still no luck....hoping to get a positive soon!

Wait to TTC until after your first normal period once it's removed. Otherwise you're at a significantly higher risk for miscarriage due to the uterine wall not being strong enough to hold.

Otherwise, it's a breeze!  My husband and I waited a month, then frolicked freely and conceived our daughter two months later.  I had a healthy pregnancy and now have a beautiful baby girl. :)

Had mine for the full five years got it taken out in November found out Christmas 15' I was pregnant ended up losing the baby in February 16' had to have a d&c.

Everyone is different!!! My personal experience is I had it taken out in may got my first period in July and had my second one there last week! Now I do have other health conditions but never got a period when I had my iud! Just be patient and allow your body time to get back to normal! :) good luck for everything though :)
