how are you doing on the depo?

I'm on day 20 on the depo shot. And my body has some changes that I am not used too. I have a lot of cramping in the middle of the night and throughout the day. I'm extremely tired at times. I get very agitated and annoyed by my husband which I love but I get annoyed easily. Plus my sex drive is so down it crosses my mind to want to do something with my husband and but the thought makes me tired and then I just don't want to do anything. Am I buggin? I know I have some of the symptoms but how are there reacting to this birth control?

I've been on the shot a year now. I'm getting off and I think I'm going to try the implant. The first 5 months of the shot was glorious for me. Now after a year I get a period every other week. And it lasts an entire week and comes out of nowhere. My sex drive is gone. I love my boyfriend but like you say I'm so easily annoyed and get aggravated then I feel so bad. The thought of sex makes me tired and not want to do it but I want to please him and knownots only because of the shot my hormones are out of whack so my desire is gone. Also, I have been experiencing extreme depression. Mood swings. Dizziness during months 6-9.  Body cramps too.
