Thursday night I started having contractions. They were extremely painful and I could hardly move. Friday morning I was booked into L&D with contractions only 3 minutes apart. I have a heart condition that prevents me from taking certain medications, so doctors did everything they could to prevent the contractions. My body was not responding to any of their methods and I was terrified that I'd soon be meeting my baby girl. Thankfully after 26 drug-free grueling hours of labor, my body responded to the IV treatments and the contractions stopped. It is now Sunday night and I think they're starting again :/ I have diarrhea, my stomach is in pain again and I'm getting to the point where I can hardly move around easily. I'm not bleeding and my water has not broken. I just really need some support and maybe even some other moms who have been through this :/ My husband & I are ready for her but we don't want her here this early!
