Head Down Feeling?

Question

What does it feel like when the baby goes head down? 
Last night I was super uncomfortable. Lots of pressure in my lower abdomen, but not contraction like feelings. It didn't hurt, was just very uncomfortable. Also, it made my lower back hurt too. I ended up going to sleep very early because I could only get comfortable by laying down with my pillow between my knees.

I didn't actually feel my daughter turn head down. But I knew she was head down because there was a lot of pressure on my pelvic area. Also I felt her hiccups very low.

I'm afraid to squat because it feels like she's going to burst through. 
This is my second and every time I go in to see my midwife and she feels from the outside she always comments on how low the baby is. It made me nervous to hear but she always reassures me that it's normal with second pregnancies. The baby has been head down and within my pelvis for a while now.
But seriously, it feels like there is an expanding balloon deep inside my vagina. I hate squatting because it makes it feel worse! Lol

I didn't feel my baby turn head down. One week he was breech on the ultrasound and the next week he was head down.

I felt my daughter turn head down, but it was more like a lot of painful movements. It hurt all over.

Not everyone feels when their baby turns head down. But pelvic pressure can be a sign. For me at 30 weeks, pelvic pressure just means she decided to cram herself down low into my pelvis instead of utilizing the rest of her current space. She usually moves back up and turns around after a few hours or the next day.
