Dilation?

39w3d today had my appointment and I am only 1-2 cm dilated.

This means nothing right?  Any experience with this and went into labor early or on time??  Or same day as reporting 1-2cm dialated?

At my appointment Thursday my doctor said I was maybe a finger tip dilated and 50 percent effaced at 38 weeks and 6 days, I cried all the way home because I was sure I was never having my baby. Saturday I went in to labor and had my baby Sunday morning at 39 and 2. Dilated from a 1 to a 6 in less than 90 min. Things can happen really quickly lol. Good luck!

I was only 1 cm at 39w 3d and had my daughter on her due date 11/11 i did a lot of walking

Had my check up today 39+1. Am 4cm and 80%. With my 1st I was 5 cm for over a week and had him 1 day late. It can move pretty fast.

I'm right there with you. Had my 39+5 week appt today and I am about 1/2 cm dilated. Hoping that things get moving soon. :)

Iv been 4-5 cm for over a week and nothing! I'm getting frustrated lol

Doesn't mean anything. My friend was at a 3 for a month and still had to be induced
