at what point should blood concern you in 1st trimester?

I'm so confused... Some people have said if I see bright red blood I need to be concerned and some people said if it's dark red blood to be concerned. I have been spotting for 4 days but only in the evening time and today it was a little heavier

you need to be worried if there is alot of blood, severe cramping or big blood clots. Spotting is common in the first trimester. You can always go your Dr or ER if you are really worried. Or you can call your OB, they have a 24 hr call service so dont be afraid to ask questions

I've been spotting for about a week. Keep going back for more results. What I was told is spotting is normal in first trimester. Mine has been more of a brown/red. It turned red one of the days but has been light. Went to doctor and that's when the testing HCG etc started. Doc said if I bleed through a pad in an hour for 2 hours straight or get severe pains to go in right away. It never hurts to ask your doc though because they are pretty good at easing your mind. Best thing to do is relax, put your feet up, and stay positive as hard as it is!
