UK mums... at how many weeks pregnant are you supposed to call the dr/midwife?

I'm 7 weeks? Still havnt told Drs, am I ment to?x

I called mine straight away and they said you have to complete an early pregnancy form and then a midwife will call you to book you in. I did this and have been waiting nearly a week now for a call, it is killing me! I really want to speak to the midwife as we had a mc in Feb and feel really anxious. Am now 6w4d so I know it's still early!

Hi ladies. Not sure if any of you ladies know. It we have a facebook group for U.K. Mums to follow the journey, ask questions and advice. It is called 'glow girls best friend' all closed so no one can see what you put in there apart from the members, were all expecting in July 2017.

Most midwives won't see you until 8wks & even then they don't confirm the pregnancy it's just a booking appiontment. They say pregnancy tests are accurate enough. They will probably book a dating scan for you for when your about 12wks. This is what happened with my last pregnancy last year.

You ahould contact your GP to make an initial appointment
They will do a pregnancy test for you and refer you to midwife
