bad odor?

Every now & then I get a bad odor, comes along with thick white discharge? Smells like metal with a hint of yuck! Seriously embarrassing! I just had my annual 2/3 weeks ago & had BV! They gave me pills & there was no smell & now there's another one? I don't understand 😫 I don't have an STD, I shower every morning & take a hot bath after work (no soap in water), I've had the SAME partner for 3 years! He never comments on a smell but I can smell it sometimes when we have sex... what am I doing wrong? 😞
