I was 14. Most of my friends had already started by the time they were 12.

When I was around 11 my mom would pack pads for me just in case. She's a nurse so she told me about all of that way before it happened and introduced me to tampons during my first period (which I eventually swapped for a diva cup). I had mine a couple months after I turned 13 but some kids are early and some are late.

depends on the person. i started at 12. some of my friends started around there or a year later. but i also had a couple friends who didn't start until high school like 16.
