3 year old sick.

So all of a sudden last night my son woke up sick. He had an asthma attack. Finally got him back to sleep for an hour. He woke up fully congested. Gagging on congestion. He still sounds congested. He is asleep. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to kick this out of him or make him feel better. Preferably home remedies. I'm posting in this board because I know many wiccans know great herbal remedies.
