Talking to Mom about birth control

Im 20 years old now and have been looking into different birth control options for several months now, I've broached the subject with my mother, who is firmly against it for any reason, and I don't know what to do. I'm completely covered by insurance for the Mirena IUD which is what I want, but I've been told I won't be able to drive myself home. I want to be honest with my mom, since we usually have a great relationship, but she doesn't get it. My periods are awful and the Mirena is supposed to help with that and havebone of the lowest hormonal doses. Any ideas on how I can sway her? Should I just ask my coworker who is more like another mom to take me? The coworker is 40 and is always willing to answer my sexual health questions. It will show up on my mom's insurance and I just don't know what to do. I'm not even dating anyone, I just want to have it in cases and get some relief from my period. I like the idea of it lasting for 5 years.
