Contractions?

I've been awake since 330 this morning with bad cramps from my back to my pubic bone and stomach. My stomach would tighten up and that's when I would start timing it. Is that what contractions feel like? I am unable to sleep from the discomfort. My due date it tomorrow and I haven't had the bloody show or anything.

Yes that's what they feel like. If they are 5 minutes apart go to the hospital! I just had my little girl on the 21st, she wasn't due until the 30th but when I timed them and they were 5 min apart I went in and was dialated 6cm already. I didn't not see the bloody show either and my water didn't break, the doctor broke it for me.

Labor at home as long as you can. You'll know when you need to go in. I had my LO on the 16th, and was sent home once. Super annoying since my contractions were 2-5 mins apart for HOURS. He was born the next day. I never had a bloody show until I was admitted to L&D. Although during my contractions at home I had been loosing my mucus plug in chunks. Good luck! Don't be afraid of an epidural! I was against having it but it turns out it was awesome!

I had contractions all day before due date (like very bad period cramps), went into labour over the night & had my bloody show at 6cm dialated & 5 hours before giving birth. When they get bad, go in, don't wait for waters to break or plug come out..

I didnt have my show with my previous lg till about 8 hrs after i started contracting and ny waters didnt break till 5 mins before she was born she was nearly born in sack so dont wajt for any of them keep timing and u will know wen its time to go x
