Please help. I wrote a statement against my stalker.

So I was stalked by my ex for 2 years, and I never told anyone. In July I started to speak up, and told my boyfriend, and my family. Recently I finally got the chance to write a statement against him. Its been little over a month and authorities havent gotten back with me about anything. What does this mean???? Im just worried and feel like I should ask questions but I dont know if its a good idea.
