Will hcg levels decrease if it is ectopic?

Question

I got a positive test at 3w4 days. Monday it was dark and I got bloodwork at 4 weeks and Found out hcg levels were only 26. On Wed they went down to 13.

I'm assuming this is a chemical pregnancy. I started to barely spot today. I'm wondering when the blood is going to come. However, I'm worried about an ectopic pregnancy. The cheapie tests are now negative. Should I go to the hospital to make sure it's not a tubal, or just wait it out?

I would just wait it out, I don't think they drop during and ectopic. I don't think they start to drop until after it's removed.

Just got my ectopic pregnancy removed this morning.

Dont want to scared you but yes they can drop and it still be an ectopic pregnancy. My right tube actually ruptured and was rushed to emergency surgery.

Sounds like an early miscarriage I hope I'm wrong but I knew something was of about my pregnancy at the end of August this year when I found out my tests wasn't getting progressively darker after a few days and for how many weeks I was my levels were low then I started to bleed and took hpt for them to be negative and the positive digital I had the night before to be negative go get seen babe xxx
