My right ovary feels like it's gonna explode it's a sharp pain it's been going on all day not getting any better what could it be also should I go to the ER?

idk if polycystic ovary syndrom hurts the way you described it...getting it checked asap is the best thing to do

You could just be ovulating. When I ovulate I better not move. The pain is excrutiating.

It could be appendicitis, your ovaries or a lower intestine infection. I would go to the hospital.

If you touch where the pain is at and the pain goes away it is definitely appendicitis.

Better safe than sorry. My husband had an emergent appendectomy last Sunday. He had no symptoms other than some stomach pain he thought was gas. But, because he works in the medical field, he noticed the slight change of pain moving to the right lower quadrant on Sunday. So, we went. Good luck!

Definitley go get it checked out just to be safe. Your ovaries and appendix are decently close together. I have 3cysts on my right ovary and they hurt so bad once I thought it was my appendix. The ER nurse told me it usually happens the other way around. Just to be safe I'd get it checked.

I had the same thing except my left ovary. Ended up being a cyst and I had surgery to get it removed
