Plan B?

Hi, i just started having sex not too long ago and am looking for some helpful advice in this situation. I am on my last day of ovulation with an 8% chance of getting pregnant and i had sex today without the condom but he pulled out before he got off. I am still nervous though about getting pregnant, should i be going and buying plan b just in case? I just started the birth control pill and i am on my second week.

if you have the money for the 50 dollar pill i probably would, you're supposed to use the pill for a month before having sex as it's more affective after that amount of time.

If you do take the plan b pill keep in mind that it can mess your cycle up but I would continue taking your birth control normally and not try to adjust it to where you're taking the period pills when you're on your period. Just take the birth control at the same time every day.

This is not intended to sound rude, but if you are not trying for a child, you should take the right precautions to prevent it. You should as your doctor how long after taking the pill can you have unprotected sex. Some docs will say after 7 days, some 2 weeks, mine suggested a whole cycle of pills before. You. Ant get pregnant at any point of a cycle. Some people ovulate later in their cycles and you can even become pregnant while on your period ( rare, bit can happen ) make sure you know the facts so you can protect yourself 😊

Your birth control should be effective at 2 weeks if you've taken it religiously (no forgotten pills) but remember antibitoics can render the pill ineffective so if you've had some lately better get the plan b.
